Angelo the Fish Man is Back

Angelo Pirri has a new, refrigerated truck and is back selling fresh fish and shellfish in Milford.

The truck is new, the business is the same.

Angelo Pirri, or Angelo the fish man, as he's known, has returned to Milford, selling fresh fish and shellfish from a new, refrigerated truck.

On Thursday, the line was five or six people deep along Congress Street, near His selection included haddock, scup, swordfish, crabs, haddock and salmon.

Pirri did not want to be interviewed.

Last July, and told him he could no longer sell along the street. At that time, he sold his product from iced tubs in a pickup truck that lacked refrigeration, according to state officials.

Pirri, a Rhode Island fisherman, resumed his weekly trips to Milford a few months ago, according to customers, and visits several locations in town each Thursday.
