Crivello's Crossing has been a family-owned business in Milford since the late 1930s, initially as a small store and lunch counter, now as a restaurant and bar.

At a restaurant like , the regulars have been coming for decades, not years.

Joe Testa, has been stopping by most every morning for more than 40 years. "Service with a smile," he said. "It's like eating at home. It's a home type atmosphere."

The restaurant on Depot Street, renamed Crivello's Crossing by owner and manager, Jimmy Crivello, has been operating in Milford since 1938. The restaurant recently added Sunday morning breakfast, at the request of customers, he said. The Sunday morning crew arrives at 5 a.m., with the business opening at 7 a.m. So far, the extra hours have been worth it, Crivello said. "We figured we'd give it a shot," he said.

One of his first orders Sunday went to Tony Cimino, a regular who said he stops in three or four times a week, but sometimes eats three meals in a day at the business. "I like the food," he said. "In the mornings, I always get my corn muffin."

His favorite sandwich is made to order: "My BLT and C," Cimino said. "Bacon, lettuce, tomato and cucumber." Sliced thinly, waitress Jessica Bean emphasizes, from memory. Cimino's great-uncle lived in the neighborhood when he was growing up and they always went to Crivello's, he said.

Testa, in on Sunday for a mid-morning breakfast, beat the after-church crowd. He's been a customer so long, he trusts the cook for a recommendation. His usual order? "Whatever the cook wants to get me."
