    I had avoided this place for years because of their insistance on becoming a strip bar in Milford. My friends and I started going back for the Patriots season. Bar food was passable but nothing else should be ordered.

    On the last day of the season, one of my friends got violently ill after eating a clam chowder. Since we had been going there regularly, I told him after he returned from his third trip to the bathroom to go tell the owner. She promptly starting yelling at him that he was always a problem their. Told him it couldnt be food poisining, which he NEVER even mentioned, because it took 2 days. I want to know how she knows that! She never even asked if he was okay.

    It was so bad, a bartender came to our table to apologize for the owner. I wasnt even involved and I was shocked that she treated a regular customer like that. We gave them a second chance but we will never go back there again. The food is not good and the owner treats the customers with disdain. They continue to lose money, I seriously doubt they will be around much longer.

    Good food and drinks, we go here quite often. Only negative I can think of is sometimes the music from the bar area is so loud, you cant have a conversation. But in those cases, we have talked to the manager and they have turned it down.

    Love the vanilla bean cheesecake!

    Just ate there last night. Everyone talks about their steak tips but I love their calzones. I had the buffalo chicken, its nice to eat a calzone with ricotta cheese like its supposed to be made! Buffalo wings are awesome.

    I hadnt been to Docs in a couple of years, so when a friend wanted to go out, I suggested it. I had been there many times and enjoyed it. What a disappointment. My friend ordered a white zinfandel, they didnt have any. I wouldnt drink it but a lot of people do. How can a bar that size be out? The dinner items are gone from the menu and its now a one page bar food munchies menu now that is so dark you can barely read it. One waitress covering all the tables AND the keno counter. I always enjoy waiting for my waitress while she is running the keno machine.

    Went to the keno counter, which is at the entrance to Docs, the whole area looked like my garage with junk just stacked everywhere. I mentioned to the girl how any business could be this sloppy and she just shrugged her shoulders. It made me wonder what the kitchen looked like. If this is how the places I can see look, what about what I cant see.

    Prices were very high and the food was definitely not worth it. There are too many places like this to go in Milford to accept this. Next time I want to have a drink and some food during a Boston game, I wont be at Docs. I went to Pepperoncinis to watch a Bruins playoff game last week and was very happy. Clean, big screen TVs and food was great. Thats what I expect if you're going to get my money.

    I LOVE to eat, so I feel VERY qualified to answer this question. When mentioning best sandwiches in Milford, you have to startwith the italian of faccacia at Olivas and the porketta at Gene's variety. BUT I love my BBQ, so I would say the best was the beef brisket or the pulled chicken at Adirondack Smokehouse. Its where the old fish market was across from Gasco(the old Mobico). Dont forget to get the mash potatoes as a side, she even has a version with horseradish in them!

    A lot of people I know never knew this place was there but after they go, they always tell me how great it was and how they'll be back.

    We work around the corner from Pizza Chef, so we go here all the time. Good pizza but I recommend the chicken parm sub and the steak & cheese sub.

    The people are nice, the food is excellent and the prices are fair.

    This is one of the nicest gift shops I have seen in the area. The owners are very nice and have always went out of their way to help our charity.

    The have a beautiful selection of Vera bags and nice jewelry and their prices are extremely reasonable. I enjoy just stopping in to talk to Andy and Shari! :)

    If you need a gift that is both tasteful and affordable, I would highly suggest stopping in at Planting Island Gifts.
