Small Business Saturday is on Nov. 24 this year, two days after Thanksgiving. It is a day for everyone to support the small businesses that their community thrives on. The thrift shop is moving to a bigger location next week.
When This & That opened on Main Street the owners knew the store was small, what they didn't know, according to owner Dawn Marie Jordan, was how much more room they would actually need. "We get so much stuff all the time, we're looking forward to have more room to display furniture and big items," Jordan said. Dawn Marie Jordan owns and runs the company with her husband Chris. "[Chris] goes to all kinds of different estate sales so he's always bringing in new items," Jordan said. "The window says we take consignments but we haven't been able to because we don't have the room for it."
