How Does She Look?

The painting of Milford Town Hall is complete.

Painters finished a complete repainting of Milford Town Hall last week, from clock tower to foundation. Two painters with Alpha Contracting Associates of Dedham began their work in early July. Eight companies bid for the work, and Alpha Contracting submitted the low bid of $123,000. This was far below the original estimate for the repainting. Milford Town Meeting voters appropriated about $300,000 for the job over several years.

They work from a pair of bucket trucks that take them up, past the roof line of the historic building. The work, which began in early July, should be completed in about two weeks.
