Editor's Note: the following statements are from health inspection reports submitted in December, January and February. Bugaboo Creek Steak House, 174 Medway Rd., Nov. 9, 2012: two critical violations: changing stations in the bathrooms need disposable pads at all times; handwash station in the kitchen, no paper towels; beer mug glasses have a lot of water and mineral spots. They have spoken to Eco Lab about this. Inspector will have them pre-wash with brush in sink, then wash as usual. Other bar glasses good. Sanitizer concentration in dishwasher a little too high. Burger King, 22 Beaver St., Jan. 2: Recent inspection revealed four violations. In a rear storage room, a hole in the wall needs to be repaired; fryer baskets cannot be stored on top of cardboard boxes as this is not a safe, sanitary location or method of storage; and need additional thermometers where missing or not visible. Bronx Bagel, 191 E. Main St., Jan. 7: Four violations here, which included the need for an additional thermometer, the floor under the rack where flour is stored needs to be cleaned to the wall, and the wall to floor surface area next to the Cutler oven needs a good cleaning. The reports are based on inspections conducted in April, the most recent available. Milford High School, 31 W. Fountain St., April 9: Six violations, including the following: boxes of "Kids Kookies" on the floor in the dry goods storage room. Three huge stainless steel bowls had some sort of debris in them (probably wood from the ceiling and people walking on upstairs storage area, person in charge states they are cleaned again before use.) Need a new system for storage of cutting board, instead of being stored in a wood rack. Bakers sink has two large cracks in it and will need to be replaced. …
