Milford Police Release Suspect Images in Armed Robbery at Granite Gulf

Enhanced photographs of the suspect in a Dec. 5 armed robbery at Granite Gulf were released Friday by Milford Police. Police also released photos of a vehicle involved in the crime.

Milford Police are asking the public to view a series of photographs taken from security cameras at Granite Gulf gas station, to see if they can identify the suspect or the getaway vehicle. According to an email message from Detective Michael Mastroianni, the robber entered Granite Gulf about 7:18 p.m. last Wednesday, and fired a handgun twice inside the gas station at attendants. The suspect was described by witnesses as a white male, about 6' to 6'2" and of thin build. No one was …

Employees Shaken over Armed Robbery

She wasn't at the business Wednesday night, but her brother was among the employees accosted by the …

The robber, whose face was obscured with a scarf, fled on foot into the woods near Art's Towing. Milford and State Police searched that area with a police dog, but lost the trail. The robbery was reported shortly after 7 p.m., when the service station was open for business and had customers at the gas pumps. The robber entered the office, and demanded cash from the attendant, O'Loughlin said. The employee didn't immediately turn over any money, and instead entered the service bay area, where his boss was working, the police chief said. At that time…
