UPDATED: State Police say numerous crashes are being reported in Central Massachusetts.

UPDATED: Massachusetts State Police issued the following statement Thursday morning: C Troop, covering the central part of the state, including Worcester County, is reporting the road conditions are improving around Routes 290 and 84. However, Route 190, Route 2 and the northern sections of Route 495 are having problems with snow covered roads and advise caution when traveling on those roads or to those areas as there are numerous reports of minor crashes across the area.
