Crivello's Crossing is on the market, a listing that the Realtor says has drawn significant interest in the past month.
Milford appears to be losing its oldest family-run restaurant. Crivello's Crossing is on the market for sale, including the restaurant and a residential property that shares the lot. The listing, made active about a month ago, has drawn significant interest from potential buyers, but no offers so far, Realtor Joshua Lioce said last week. The restaurant on Depot Street has been run by the Crivello family for 70 years. It is listed for $449,000 as a commercial property, but the sale is to include both the restaurant building and all equipment and furniture at 45 Depot St., and a residential home next door. The business opened in 1938, originally as a small market and a lunch counter. It is now managed by Jimmy Crivello, whose grandparents …

Joseph P. Kennedy III, the grandson of Robert F. Kennedy, launched a campaign for the Fourth Congressional District Thursday. He stopped at Crivello's Crossing in Milford, drawing a big crowd.
A large crowd of supporters gathered at Crivello's Crossing Thursday to meet Joseph P. Kennedy III, as he launched his campaign for U.S. Congress. Kennedy is the grandson of the late Robert F. Kennedy. He is running for the Fourth Congressional District, a seat that will be relinquished by U.S. Rep. Barney Frank (D-Newton), who is retiring. Kennedy, a former state prosecutor, stopped in Milford as part of a campaign launch across the district. Although today was the first official day of his campaign, Kennedy is already leading in state polls and has received an endorsement from the state's largest labor union. The family that owns Crivello's Crossing says business has been cut in half since NStar began utility work around its restaurant, cutting off parking access for customers.
Editor's Note: The following letter to NStar was shared with Milford Patch by the owners of Crivello's Crossing, where customers have had a hard time finding parking since utility construction began this month. Dear NStar, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Do we call you Santa or the Grinch? I know this sounds in jest but your maintenance on Depot Street is nothing to laugh about. I am a member of the Crivello family who has had a small restaurant on Depot Street in Milford, MA for over 70 years. We understand that upkeep and maintenance of utilities are of prime importance. However, you as a large utility and business have no regard for the little people. For the past two weeks I have watched you take away the livelihood of my two …
