The following inspection reports were submitted in February and March.

McDonald's, Route 109, Medway Road, Feb. 26: Inspection here indicated four violations. Back room dry goods area needs better care with general upkeep. No soap or paper towel for employee hand sink next to dish machine. One hinge on a single door prep cooler is broken and poses a hazard to employees. Lin's Garden, 206 E. Main St., Feb. 26: Recent inspection here indicated seven violations. These included the following: clean the surrounding edge of the steel food prep table where it borders a wall surface; clean interior and exterior of small food mixer; paper towel is needed for dispensers; several foods not covered in the …

Editor's Note: the following statements and notes were made in Milford Board of Health inspections of restaurants and schools. Rise and Shine Academy Daycare, 375 Fortune Blvd., Sept. 25: No violations here. Food is delivered from Milford High School. Food prep is minimal (chicken nuggets and similar foods.) Quick Shop, 124 E. Main St., Sept. 27: No violations here. Small convenience store as part of a service station. No milk, no groceries, no breads. Too coolers with juice, energy drinks, soda, water, etc... Counter display of candy and snacks and a rack system with chips and other assorted bagged snacks. Quick Mart, 58 S. There are numerous solutions to prevent slime in ice machines. The best solution, and one that is not too expensive, is to use a product manufactured by BioZone Scientific International that they call IceZone. Milford's Board of Health now has two inspectors who conduct inspections of restaurants and other food establishments. These reports were filed in January and February of 2012.
