Milford youth sports associations will pay $25 an hour to use the new athletics field at Milford High School, the School Committee agreed Wednesday, shelving a proposal to charge three times as much. The rate, for Milford organizations only, will continue for two years, giving school and youth association representatives more time to review information and set a rate that will provide some funds for maintenance. A special session of the Milford School Committee has been called to discuss and approve a new fee schedule for groups to use the athletics field at Milford High School. The meeting is at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the conference room of Superintendent Robert Tremblay, which is located in an annex to Milford High School. The meeting is open to the public but the public will not be allowed to address the committee, said Patrick Holland, a School Committee member who sat on an advisory committee concerning the fees.
