Milford High Guidance Director Arrested on Assault Charges

Peter Bruce, director of guidance for Milford High School, was arrested by Framingham Police Friday on three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon. He is accused of using his car to chase three kids on bikes in a parking garage.

The director of guidance at Milford High School faces felony assault charges in Framingham District Court, following his arrest Friday on three charges of assault with a dangerous weapon. Peter Bruce, 41, of 4 Bishop St., Apt. 403, Framingham, was arrested by Framingham Police after an incident in which he was accused of using a car to chase three youths on bikes in a parking garage. Police responded to the Bishop Street Garage, after receiving a report that a man in a vehicle was "chasing three kids on their bikes" in the garage, said Framingham Police Lt. Ron Brandolini. UPDATE: Milford Selectmen to Review Scioli's License

Milford Selectmen on Monday will hold a public hearing to determine if any sanctions should be brought against Scioli's Pizza Bar, following an altercation March 24 at the business.

Update, April 9: The public hearing has been delayed until later this month. Milford Selectmen are expected to review the license for Scioli's Pizza Bar Monday, to determine if it should be suspended, revoked or changed, following a critical report from the town's police chief relating to an incident that left two patrons with injuries. The selectmen will open the public hearing at 7:30 p.m Monday. In a notification to Scioli's owners, Town Administrator Louis Celozzi said action against the license was being contemplated because of an incident March 24 in which "one or more of your employees had an unwarranted physical altercation with a customer or customers resulting in injury to customers." Police Investigate Reported Assault at Scioli's

Milford police responded to a reported fight at Scioli's Pizza Bar early Saturday that left a man with serious facial injuries.

UPDATED: Milford police announced Wednesday that two assault charges, including a felony, will be filed Thursday against a bouncer at Scioli's, who is accused of assaulting two patrons. Original post: Milford police are investigating an allegation that an employee at Scioli's Pizza Bar assaulted a customer, in a fracas that sent the man's friend to the hospital in need of facial reconstruction surgery. Becca Ann, The Scioli's never owned DJ's. The bar was formally DJ's, and then was bought by the Scioli's and renamed "The Clubhouse". It was subsequently shut down after problems like the one reported in this story. DJ's was at least run by a competent set of owners.   more ›

Man Charged with Assault with Intent to Murder

Pablo Amaral, 25, of Milford is charged with five felonies following a knife fight at a gas station in Milford.

UPDATED: On Tuesday, Milford police announced the arrest of the second suspect in this reported assault. UPDATED: At an arraignment hearing Monday, pleas of "not guilty" to all charges were entered on Amaral's behalf. In the overnight police log, officers responded to several reports of suspicious people, including a person digging in a cemetery who turned out to be an employee. Police also responded to Hannaford Supermarket after receiving a report that a man had walked out with a cart full of meat.
