Jr's Diner is a casual American restaurant that serves reasonably-priced meals for breakfast and lunch. The menu includes french toast, pancakes, omelettes, sandwiches, New York steak, lasagna, steak tips, chicken and beef stroganoff and shrimp alfredo. Gluten free dishes are available.
After two trips there for breakfast, I'd say the place was average. The wait staff was attentive, polite and always seemed to be refilling my coffee. The subpar flavored and undercooked homefries were balanced out with the generous serving of bacon. The omelet was burnt on the second visit but fine on the first.
Its better than McDonalds but not nearly as good as other area breakfast places. From the looks of their lunch menu, it might be worth a trip later in the day.
SOOOO DISAPPOINTED... WILL NEVER GO BACK!!
Waited over an hour for our food- they lost our order, grossly overcooked our eggs.. No apology, no correction to our bill without a fight- and even then only took off pennies! Waitress was awesome but the owner wouldn't budge- she doesn't have a clue about customer service. Too bad, it's close to home and i would have gone there alot.
Four of us ladies plus a baby in a carriage, went this morning for the 1st time. We had a very nice time. Quiet (10:00-11:30am), sunny, and the service was very good. We all liked our food- was cooked as asked, tasty, and came quickly. Prices were reasonable. We will go back again soon.
