Your Guide: Milford Lions Car Show on Sunday

A new cruising format will be used this year.

The Lions Club of Milford will hold its 26th annual Car Show on Sunday, at Plains Park in Milford.

A new format — Arrive Together, Park Together — for the top 50 vehicles able to win trophies will allow participants to show up in a "Cruise Type" environment, and park next to their friends' vehicles.

Vehicle registration is $10. All of the money will be donated to Milford civic programs, including the Milford High School Speech Contest, three scholarships for graduating seniors and community programs that help people with vision problems.

The car show is expected to feature all types of vehicles, including Hot Rods,
Antiques, and 60s and 70s muscle cars.

In addition to car-viewing, the show offers many activities for the family. Spectators are asked to donate $3. Food, refreshments, and entertainment will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Rain Date is Sept. 22.
