Your Guide: Imperial Cars 'The Show 2013'

Not your average car show. Imperial Cars 'The Show' will draw scores of people for music, carnival rides and games, food, fireworks and of course, muscle and vintage cars on display.

The Show is the big ticket this weekend for family fun. It's a free ticket, actually, because the annual car show and family event on Friday in Mendon is free.

Presented by Imperial Cars, 'The Show' runs from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, and gates open at 2 p.m. for parking.

Musical acts include John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, We Were Astronauts and Chyldz Play. Events include fireworks, carnival rides and food.

The show will draw more than 3,000 cars and hundreds of motorcycles.

Free trolley service will take people from the parking lots to the event.
