Scouting For Food, Foxwoods BBQ, Friday Night Halloween Party

Friday, Nov. 1

1. Find Yourself Fridays Halloween Party, 6:30 to 9 p.m., Milford Youth Center.

Saturday, Nov. 2

1. Foxwoods BBQ, noon to 3 p.m. Foxwoods Massachusetts will host a barbecue and information session on the proposed casino. The site visit, however, has been cancelled and the location changed. In a release, the casino reported this was due to public safety and logistics concerns. The event will now be held at the Crystal Room on Cedar St.

2. Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra, 7:30 p.m. Milford Town Hall, Season opening with Beethoven.

Sunday, Nov. 3

1. Milford Scouting for Food, Noon to 3 p.m. Please donate food and paper products for people in need. Place your donation in plastic bag(s) on your front porch in plain view from the street on Sunday by 11:30 am for pick up.  

2. Open houses in Milford

3. All Hallows Eve Psychic Fair, Doubletree by Hilton Hotel. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. "Join us at the Doubletree by Hilton, on Sunday, Nov. 3rd, from 10:00am - 6:00pm for some serious metaphysical fun. There will be 20 readers, 7 seminars, at least 15 vendors selling cool stuff."

4. Open House, Milford Catholic Elementary School, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

5. Express Dance & Acrobatics. 6 p.m., Express Dance Cheer Force Try-outs and Evaluations.
