Local Barbers to Raise Money for Milford Youth Center with Basketball Tourney

Barbers from Milford's Classic Barbershop are getting ready to take on their customers in a game of hoops this month.
The first annual "Help the Youth" basketball tournament, hosted by Classic Barbershop owner Jay Resto, will be held at the Milford Town Park from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 13. In the event of rain, the tournament will be moved to the Milford Youth Center, 24 Pearl St.
The tournament will include a five-on-five basketball game in which barbers of the shop will take on customers.

The event will also include face painting, music and food. All proceeds will go toward the Milford Youth Center's summer programming.
