Hoops for Hope, a Free Girls Basketball Clinic, Collecting Donations

The free basketball clinic is for all girls in Milford, kindergarten through eighth grade.

This weekend, for the price of a donated food item, girls in Milford will have access to a free basketball skills clinic.

Hoops for Hope is organized by the Milford Varsity Girls Basketball Program, who will collect canned goods and other non-perishable food items for families in need this holiday season.

Trisha Cullen, MHS's Varsity Head Coach, along with the Girls Basketball Team will host the free basketball clinic for all Milford girls (grades K-8) who make a donation. The clinic begins at 3 p.m. at the Stacy Middle School gymnasium.

The clinic will be run by the current varsity players of the Milford Girls Basketball Program. The players will teach the participants the basic skills and rules of basketball, according to the announcement.
