Here's What's Going on in Milford This Weekend

A look at what's going on in and around Milford this weekend.

Friday, Aug. 30

1. Movies in Bellingham and other theaters.

Saturday, Aug. 31

1. Milford Farmers Market. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., next to Milford Town Hall. This weekend, four produce farmers have signed on to sell veggies. More vendors will sell, as well. Last weekend, at least 500 people attended the first market. (Hint: come on the earlier end)

2. My One Wish Labor Day Motorcycle Run. An annual tradition of a Labor Day Motorcycle Run to benefit the My One Wish organization will return to Scioli's Pizza Bar. Registration begins at 11 a.m. Ride begins at 1 p.m.
The ride will head through scenic Southern Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut, stopping at the Bach Dor Cafe in Chaplin, CT. The ride will then return to Scioli's for a DJ, pizza and an inside bar. The charge is $25 a person, and $20 if you can't make the run but want to eat and celebrate at Scioli's. In case of rain the event will still be held at Scioli’s  at 3 p.m.

3. Sts. Anagyroi Grecian Festival, Central Street, Marlborough. A large Greek cultural festival will take place in Marlborough, from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and noon to 6 p.m. on Monday.

Sunday, Sept. 1

1. Grafton Flea Market, Route 140, Grafton, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. The flea also will be open on Monday, Labor Day.

2.  Sts. Anagyroi Grecian Festival, Central Street, Marlborough. A large Greek cultural festival will take place in Marlborough, from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and noon to 6 p.m. on Monday.
