Monday Essentials: Milford Special Town Meeting, CROP Hunger Walk

1. Milford will hold a special town meeting on Monday. The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. in the Upper Hall at Milford Town Hall. The 27-article warrant includes requests for funds to begin the process of investigating whether the town should acquire the Milford Water Company.

2. The Harlem Wizards will be at Milford High School at 7 p.m. Monday, in a show presented by the Milford Junior Woman's Club. Tickets are $12 for students; $14 general admission.

3. Casino-Free Milford will have a fundraiser at PiNZ and the Blue Dog Sports Bar & Grille from 4 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday. Twenty percent of all food, beverage, bowling, and laser tag sales purchased by guests who mention "Casino-Free Milford" will be donated to Casino-Free Milford.

4. The Milford Pond Restoration Committee meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Town Hall. The agenda includes discussion of a timetable for projects to improve the pond.

5. The Milford CROP Hunger Walk is 9 a.m. Saturday. The walk will raise funds for the Milford Daily Bread Food Pantry.
