Menorah Lighting, Thanksgiving 5K Run
Here is a look at interesting or important things coming up this week.
1. The Woodland School Committee Building will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, at Milford Town Hall.
2. Milford Town Hall will close for the Thanksgiving holiday at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
3. The Menorah Lighting at Milford Town Park will begin at 6 p.m., marking the beginning of Hanukkah.
4. The Milford Scarlet Hawks Turkey Day 5K begins at 7:30 a.m. at Milford High School. Proceeds from the entry fees will benefit student athletes at the high school.
5. The Mitten Tree is open for business at Milford Town Library starting Friday morning. Donations of new hats, mittens and scarves will be accepted through Dec. 20.
