Christmas Closings, Information on Trash Collection, Tree Recycling

1. Milford Town Hall, Milford Town Library and other public offices will close at 1 p.m. Tuesday for the Christmas holiday, reopening on Thursday.

2. The Milford Public Schools have closed for the holiday, and will reopen on Jan. 2, 2014.

3. Trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day, starting on Wednesday. If your day falls on Wednesday, the Christmas holiday, take out the trash Thursday, instead. If your day is Thursday, take it out Friday, and so on. Friday collections will be picked up on Saturday.

4. Save the Date: The Milford Scouts will be collecting Christmas trees on Jan. 5. Please drag the tree out (free of all ornaments and glitter) by 8 a.m. and leave an $8 donation for the scouts, either taped to your door or tied to the tree. 

5. The students at Evergreen Center made the wreaths this year decorating Milford Town Hall and the Milford Town Library.
