IMAGE GALLERY: Thanks to Yanks Dinner

The annual Thanks to Yanks dinner, which celebrates those who serve the country, and the families of those who have died in either the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks or as part of military service, drew more than 300 people to the Medway V.F.W. Sunday.

More than 300 people attended a tribute dinner Sunday organized for military service families and families of Sept. 11, 2001 victims by Thanks for Yanks.

Thanks to Yanks was created by , a Milford resident and a community banker, who was moved by the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, and the following military actions, to recognize the sacrifices of military families.

The event was held at the Medway V.F.W. Those attending included U.S. Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA), state Sen. Richard T. Moore (D-Uxbridge) and state Rep. John Fernandes (D-Milford).
