Milford Rotary Swim Program Ends On Saturday

The final hours of Rotary’s ten day swim program will be celebrated on Saturday when participates will be presented with Red Cross Achievement certificates, reflecting each individuals swim level. The program held at the Fino Field Pool was under the chairmanship of Rotarian Mike Kaplan. Peter Filosa and Ron Santacroce oversee the Fino Field Pool and work with Rotary to make the popular program available every summer. Rotary has been offering the program since the mid 50”s.  Senior lifeguards Kaitlyn Kline and Sofia Bon Tempo assisted by a team of lifeguards and instructors managed this year’s program.

Rotary would like to thank everyone who attended the program and everyone who worked to make the program a success as well as the Town of Milford for the opportunity to use the pool. Milford Rotary meets every Tuesday at 12:10 at Restaurant 45 in Medway. Dennis LaPlante is the current president of Rotary.
