Lifting For America

Excited, pumped up and raring to go is the best way to try to describe Liane Blyn, owner of ABT [Athletic Based Training) in Milford and Holliston who was a recent speaker at the Milford Rotary Club.

Blyn is an accomplished DRUG FREE power lifter and strongwoman competitor. She competes on both the National and International level and has represented the United States Powerlifting team in Seven World Championships and one World Games. Earlier this year Blyn was selected as one of the three US Women to represent the United States in the 2013 World Games Powerlifting Competition Cali Columbia in July where she came in 3rd after suffering a back injury that challenged her expectations. Blyn also represented the US in the 2003 ESPN”S Worlds Strongest Women Competition.  Rotarians were awestruck as Liane shared photos of her bench pressing 391 pounds, deadlifting 495 pounds, flipping huge tires and pulling an F-17 fighter jet from a dead stop.  Great program. LIane’s excitement and energy filled the room. To learn more about Liane and ABT pop on http://www.athleticbasedtraining.com
