Community Update

One day I walked into The Robin's Nest to see about purchasing my daughter a cloak like in the Harry Potter movies. Growing up in a strict judgmental Irish Catholic household I confess I was apprehensive about going into the shop. I was pleasantly surprised to walk into such a beautiful and peaceful shop, noticing the gifts and items were not Wiccan or Pagan based but all religions and creeds. Aside from the religious items there are many homemade and local artistry gifts. My daughter has learned to make homemade soaps, lotions and is learning how to crochet. I have found a great deal of friendship, unconditional love and acceptance at The Nest. The Nest also has a deep-rooted sense of community. The women are very selfless and generous continuously giving back and take care of community. So this holiday season, instead of running off to Macy's to find a sweater or wallet, visit The Robin's Nest for a multitude of beautiful gifts made with love and care. Isn't that what the Holidays are all about? Gifts full of thoughtfulness, love and sincerity?
