Volleyball Double-Header Raises Money for ALS

Milford High Volleyball team sweeps in ALS Benefit games

The Milford High Volleyball team won both ends of a double-header Friday night, defeating Leominster in their first game 25-6, 25-7 and 25-7. In the second game against Clinton, the matches were a little tighter: 23-25, 25-16, 25-14 and 25-16.

The games were part of a fundraiser to raise money for player Dan Seaver's father, who recently was diagnosed with ALS, sometimes referred to as Lou Gehrig's disease. A near-full house was on hand to witness both games. Milford still remains undefeated this year, with a record of 12-0 (7-0 MWA).
