Alex Croteau, 15, of Milford Troop 4, taught a dodgeball-like game Sunday at the courts he built as a requirement for his Eagle Scout project.

Alex Croteau, a Milford candidate for Eagle Scout, hosted a fun day Sunday at the two gaga ball courts that he built between Stacy Middle School and Memorial Elementary School to complete his Eagle Scout requirements.

He taught the participants how to play the game, as well.

Gaga Ball is similar to dodgeball, except instead of catching and throwing the ball, the player hits it with his or her hands. The object of the game is to hit players below the waist with the ball to eliminate them, while keeping the ball in the court.
