TEAM RECORDS: This year, Shrewsbury is having the better season. Its record is now 8-2, while Milford's is 2-8.
HISTORY of RIVALRY: Milford and Shrewsbury have matched up for Thanksgiving Day games for at least 36 years, said Richard Piergustavo, the Milford athletic director. Milford will join the Hockomock League next year, while Shrewsbury remains in the Mid-Wachusett League, but there is still a likelihood of a Thanksgiving matchup next year.
"The great part about Thanksgiving is it's a game unto itself," Piergustavo said.
