The 3rd Annual Cycle for Autism Awareness event is a Thirty-mile bicycle ride to benefit the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism. The ride begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Massachusetts Correction Officers Federated Union in Milford and takes bikers on a scenic route through the Blackstone Valley Corridor. All riders will receive a t-shirt. Post-race festivities include a BBQ and numerous raffle prizes.
The Foundation's mission is to aid financially disadvantaged families who need assistance in caring for their children with autism; to fund education and research into the causes and consequences of childhood autism; and to serve as a clearinghouse and communications center for new programs and services developed for individuals with autism.
