Milford Not Ranked Among Best High Schools in Massachusetts

The U.S. News and World Report this week released its 2014 Best High Schools list, with 75 Massachusetts schools making the rankings. 

Milford High School, however, was not on the list this year. 

The rankings comprise data on more than 31,242 public high schools across the country. Among the Massachusetts schools in the 2014 rankings, 22 were awarded gold medals, 41 earned silver medals and 12 received bronze medals, based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college.

Milford has previously been among the rankings. Last spring, Milford was ranked as 37 out of the top 50 Massachusetts public high schools. The district also earned a  U.S. News and World Report Silver Medal in the fall for advancing student achievement.
