Milford Kindergarten Registration to Begin Mid-March

Milford will hold its kindergarten registration for the 2014-2015 school year starting Tuesday, March 18 from 6-8 p.m., school officials announced Friday. 

Students with last names beginning A-L can register on March 18, while students with last names beginning M-Z can register on Tuesday, March 25 from 6-8 p.m.

Registration will be held at the Family Resource Center, located in the Shining Star wing of Milford High School. 

Parents who do not currently have a registration packet must pick one up at the Family Resource Center as soon as possible, officials said, as children cannot be registered on registration night without a completed packet. 

Officials are also issuing a reminder that children should not accompany parents the night of registration, and children must be five years old on or before Aug. 31 to register. 

The following information is required for all kindergarten students at the time of registration: 

• Completed enrollment packet
• Birth certificate
• Resident card (can be obtained at the Milford Town Clerk's office)
• Documentation of child's most recent physical exam, including immunizations, lead screening and vision screening.
