College Graduation Announcements

The following students have graduated from colleges and universities, according to news releases distributed by the institutions.

Bowdoin College:

Matthew Frongillo of Milford graduated from Bowdoin College, with a major in History-Environmental Studies. The 208th commencement exercises were held Saturday, May 25.

Bryant University: 

Bryant University held its 150th Commencement on May 18. Among the graduates was Michael Thomas O'Brien, of Milford, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing.

Clark University:

The following local residents received degrees from Clark University on Sunday, May 19. Kristin H. Cutrona graduated with a Master of Public Administration. Katherine Hanley graduated with a Master of Science in environmental science and policy.

Connecticut College:

Cameron Ruscitti was awarded a bachelor of arts degree from Connecticut College at the 95th commencement ceremony on May 19. Ruscitti graduated magna cum laude with a major in Chinese language and literature.

Dean College:

Dean College in Franklin is honored to announce Shannon Mahoney of Milford has completed a degree program and has graduated earning a Associate in Arts in Psychology.

Keene State College:

On May 11, Keene State College's Commencement honored its biggest-ever graduating class. A total of 1,219 degrees were awarded to 1,146 students. This year's graduates included Whitney Cyr, of Milford, earning a BA, Magna Cum Laude.

Providence College:

Kevin Peloquin graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in History/Secondary Education during Providence College commencement ceremonies held on May 19. He also was recently honored for his academic achievements. Peloquin graduated summa cum laude and received the Pell Award, which recognizes excellence in U.S History. After graduation, Peloquin will be pursuing a career in education.

Quinnipiac University: 

The following residents graduated from graduated from Quinnipiac University during the 82nd Undergraduate Commencement held May 19: Nicholas Rando, Bachelor of Arts in Journalism; and Alexandra Sannicandro, Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations.

Salem State University:

On May 18, Salem State University conducted its 203rd commencement exercises. In two separate ceremonies, the university awarded more than 1,400 undergraduate degrees. Among the members of the Salem State Class of 2013 are the following local residents: Michelle A. Tosches; Thomas Joseph O'Loughlin; Kelley Ann Clifford.

St. Anselm College:

Marissa A. Martinez, of Milford, graduated with a degree in psychology at the 120th Commencement Exercises at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H. on Saturday, May 18.

St. Michael's College:

Leah Jane Allen, daughter of Carol-Anne and Scott Allen of Milford graduated, cum laude, from Saint Michael's College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. The college's 106th commencement exercises were held on the college campus May 12.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute

The following Milford residents recently graduated:

Jonathan Fitzgibbon was awarded a bachelor of science degree in biomedical engineering with distinction.

Anup Babani was awarded a master of business administration degree.

Michael Raineri was awarded a master of science degree in electrical and computer engineering.

Takashi Tsuchiya was awarded a master of science degree in mechanical engineering.
