AP Scholar Awards for Milford High School

Milford High School recently recognized 2013 graduates and current students who have received AP awards.

Milford High School recently recognized 54 students and recent graduates who earned 2013 AP Scholar Awards from the College Board, recognizing their achievement on Advanced Placement exams.

According to the letter sent to Principal Carolyn Banach, 274 students at Milford High School took part in the AP program in 2013, taking a total of 429 exams.

One student, Natasha Jacobson, qualified for the National AP Scholar Award. This award is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of those exams.

Eleven students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award. The award is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of those exams. These students are: Kevin Bradley, Matthew Cicciu, Jonathan Flatley, Natasha Jacobson, Thomas Hytholt, Samantha Lathrop, Melanie Martins, Kristin Pratt, Connor Rosenblatt, Hugo Silva and Michael Tracy.

Fifteen students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award. This award is granted to students who receive an average score of at least a 3.25 on all exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. The students are: Carlos Chong, Katie Dam, Daniel Madden, Emily Baron, Cody Callahan, Lucas Deagular, Diana Gonzalez, Tucker Gustavesen, Veronica Lynch, Brandon Morin, James Mullahoo, Kerrin O'Connor, Shannon Smith, Madeline Szczypinski and Julia Touhey.

Twenty-seven students qualified for the AP Scholar Award. This award is granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams. These students are: Peter Bae, John Donahue, Lauren Keisling, Ivy Luke, Ian Michelson, Jessica Pelletier, Emily Schrottman, Joiya Sousa, Taylor White, Robert Benjamin, Hannah Brown, Yaroslav Burdin, Kevin Castiglioni, Margaret Chute, Kellie Cooper, Joclyn Crivello, Jennifer Gauthier, Lauren Hanna, Coral Henkel, Shannon Hoar, Rachel Levine, Sarah McTiernan, Cierra Meurant, Eric Miller, John Miranda, Brendan Pounds and Nicole Tusino.
