Milford Home Prices Increase 10 Percent in 2013, Sales Down Slightly

Sale prices of Milford homes is up 10 percent this year, through July, according to The Warren Group.

Milford home prices are rebounding this year, according to a report released Thursday by the Warren Group, a market analyst, and publisher of Banker & Tradesman.

The number of sales through July in Milford dropped slightly compared to 2012 for the same period, according to its report. In town, 119 residential properties sold from January through July 2012, compared to 113 through this July.

But prices are up by 10 percent. The year-to-date median sale price was $275,000 in Milford, compared to $250,000 a year ago at this time.

In Massachusetts, the median price of a home has increased at a faster pace, up 12 percent to a median of $320,550, according to the Warren Group's data.
