House on Wildwood Drive Sells at Deep Discount, Following Foreclosure

The 2-bedroom, 1-bath house was sold in late August for far less than a year ago, in foreclosure.

The 2-bedroom, 1-bath ranch at 8 Wildwood Dr. sold at $107,500 on Aug. 23, a year after the property fell into foreclosure and was reassumed by the lender.

The property last sold for $186,415 to the lender in July 2012. Previously, the house sold for $118,500 in March 2005, according to Zillow.com.

The home sits on a quarter-acre lot and was built in 1957.

Come on, its a BANK OWNED, TWO bed ONE bath house from the 50s. Its priced appropriately considering.

In Doubting Thomas’s post entitled “How Close is 600 feet?” he quotes from the Agreement as follows: “p. 16, Sec. 3.1. Approvals, Permits, and other items. (b). …“In no event shall any Project structure be located closer than 600 feet from the nearest residence…(excluding…(iii) any residence owned or otherwise controlled by Developer…” Are the properties on Wildwood Dr. directly adjacent to the property of the proposed casino or is the land owned by the bike association between Wildwood Dr. & the property of the proposed casino? Milford GIS does not seem to want to give me a view of this. Can someone direct me to a map of the proposed casino site and the adjacent properties? Are there other homes for sale there? Would I have bought this one for $107K & tried to sell it to Foxwoods? I don’t know.
