Wheelchair-Accessible Voting Booths

Milford hopes to have a wheelchair-accessible voting booth available at each polling location this year.

Milford hopes to introduce wheelchair-accessible voting booths at each of its eight polling precincts this year, and possibly as soon as the April elections.

The Model 2000 ADA voting booths will be purchased by the Milford Commission on Disability, using its operating funds. Milford has eight precincts.

The voting booth is lightweight and large enough to accommodate up to a 20-inch optical scan ballot, the type used in Milford.
