What to Know For Milford's 2014 Annual Town Meeting Monday

Milford officials and voters will gather Monday night to engage in Milford's Annual Town Meeting. 

The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, May 19 in the Upper Hall of Milford Town Hall, 52 Main St. This year's warrant comprises 38 articles. 

One item that's received attention thus far is Article 24, which would allow the town to appropriate funds to renovate the Milford Youth Center, a move that was recently supported by the Milford Finance Commission. 

Article 31, meanwhile, looks to appropriate funds to purchase electronic tablets to be used by all Milford committee and board members to access reports and data during scheduled meetings. 

Article 33, moreover, looks to appropriate about $125,000 to be spent under the jurisdiction of the Milford Highway Surveyor for continued storm water management compliance and mapping.
