A new roof for Milford Town Hall is the top priority among a list of projects that could be proposed over the next decade. Each department is conducting the long-term planning.

Editor's note: the following prioritized list of 25 capital improvement projects, with the estimated cost, was released this week by the Board of Selectmen and Town Administrator.

1. Replace Town Hall Roof, $150,000.

10. Police Department/Interior Painting, $80,000.

11. Fire Department Breathing Air Compressor, $50,000.

12. Fire Department/Brush 1 Replacement, $300,000.

13. Fire Department/Pickup truck Replacement, $45,000.

14. Fire Department/Birch Street Station Rehab, $300,000.

15. Fire Department/UHF Radio Repeater, $20,000.

16. Fire Department/Staff Car (SUV), $45,000.

17. Fire Department/Ladder Truck, $1 million.

18. Fire Department/Rescue 1, $300,000.

19. Fire Department/Engine 1, $560,000.

20. Fire Department/SCBA Cylinders, $30,000.

21. Fire Department/Staff Vehicle (SUV), $50,000.

22. Fire Department/Air Supply, $50,000.

23. Fire Department/Station 2 Roof, $300,000.

24. Fire Department/SCBA Cylinders, $65,000.

25. Police Department/Computer Hardware (25 percent replacement) $100,000.
