Milford Board of Health Flu Shots Begin This Week

The first flu shot clinic is Friday at the Birmingham Apartments in Milford. All shots are free of charge.

The Milford Board of Health and the VNA and Hospice of Greater Milford are sponsoring the following seasonal flu immunization clinics on: 

Friday, Oct. 4th 11:00-12:00pm at the Birmingham Apartments

*open to any MA resident 6 months and older

*Bring your Insurance Card

*Wear short sleeved shirt

According to the CDC, influenza (the flu) causes an average of 36,000 deaths and 200,000 hospitalizations in the United States every year. The single best way to prevent influenza is to get the flu shot each fall. The seasonal flu vaccine is for all individuals greater than 6 months of age.
