How Did Milford Vote?

Milford turned out in huge numbers Tuesday, with most voters choosing to re-elect Barack Obama, but also choosing Scott Brown, who was defeated in the statewide race for U.S. Senate.

More Milford voters chose President Barack Obama over challenger Mitt Romney, or 7,141 to 5,514.

But local voters also wanted Scott Brown to win election to a full term in the U.S. Senate. Milford voters chose him over Elizabeth Warren, by 6,828 to 6,000. Ultimately, Brown was ousted by Warren, who won the statewide campaign.

In other races, Milford voters chose Joseph Kennedy III for the Fourth Congressional District over challenger Sean Bielat, 7,808 to 4,455.
