A Newton native, Herb Robinson is running in the Democratic primary for the Fourth District seat, which will be held this Thurs., Sept. 6. Prior to this race, Robinson had an unsuccessful bid for U.S. Senate.

Herb grew up in a small farming town in Upstate New York and has worked as a farm laborer, masons helper and dishwasher before becoming an electrical engineer and embarking on a career doing creative problem solving for private industry.
