Draper Park Centennial Celebration

A celebration will be held to note that the General Draper statue was presented to the town 100 years ago.  The MHC, Selectmen and Park Department invite everyone to attend this patriotic event Milford is fortunate to have such a remarkable statue created by Daniel Chester French.   Patriotic music will be provided by a fife & drum corps, bagpipes, MHS band, the Greater Milford Community Chorus along with speeches about General Draper, Daniel Chester French, sculptor and Henry Bacon, architect.  Visitors will be welcomed to Memorial Hall for refreshments and to view the museum after the event.
