Two Men Charged in Burglary of Milford Home

The returning homeowners saw them walking down the street, and recognized their bags and suitcases.

Milford Police arrested two men Wednesday on charges relating to the burglary of a home on Littlefield Road.

Residents of the house returned home and saw the two men walking in the neighborhood, and recognized the luggage and bags they carried as their own. When they realized their house had been entered, they contacted police, the department said in a press release.

Police responded about 2:50 p.m., and were met on Purdue Drive by the homeowner, who pointed out the two men and the belongings they carried from his home.

According to Milford Police, officers arrested Michael Charles Wouters, 42, of 39 Purdue Dr., Milford, and Leo Gonzalez, 19, of 5 Paul Dr., Blackstone, and charged them with breaking and entering in the daytime for a felony, larceny over $250, and possession of burglary tools.
