State Police Identify Man Killed in Milford Motorcycle Crash

The Weare, New Hampshire man lost control of his bike on the highway Monday.

Massachusetts State Police on Tuesday morning identified the victim of Monday's fatal motorcycle crash on Rte. I-495 in Milford as Prescott Lane of Weare, New Hampshire.

Lane, 51, was determined to be deceased at Milford Medical Center Monday afternoon after being transported from the southbound lane of 495 near Exit 19 (Rte. 109) in Milford, State Police said.

Lane reportedly lost control of the 2010 Harley Davidson he had been riding on the highway; the accident caused a nine-mile backup, with three lanes of the highway closed for a portion of Monday's late afternoon commute.
