UPDATED: Shell Gas Station Robbed Friday Night in Milford

Milford police are looking for a black man in his early 20s who robbed a Shell gas station Friday night, Chief Tom O'Loughlin said.

"He displayed a handgun and directed the clerk to give him the money," O'Loughlin said, adding several hundred was taken but he did not have an exact amount.

Milford detectives searched the area but did not find the person, who is believed to be about 5-foot-6.

O'Loughlin said he was last seen wearing a bandana and dark clothing. His face was partially covered at the time of the alleged crime.
