Police Log: Youths Ringing Doorbells, then Running

Tuesday, July 16
6:54 p.m.: A caller reported cars were speeding on Purchase Street at all hours of the day and night. She asked for extra patrols.
8:07 p.m.: A caller said a man was acting strangely, laying in the middle of Walnut Street. Police responded and asked the Fire Department for an ambulance due to a possible seizure. The man was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
8:23 p.m.: A woman asked to speak to an officer about a neighbor to her 97-year-old mother throwing a rock at her house.
9:35 p.m.: Police responded to Milford Regional Medical Center for a report of a combative patient.
9:55 p.m.: A caller in Prospect Heights said 10 youths were running around, ringing doorbells, then running away. She could also smell marijuana. Police couldn't locate the youths.
10:50 p.m.: A caller reported a car was driving around Jenn Paul Way, and the man and woman in it got out, and then were walking around in a yard.
Wednesday, July 17
12:50 a.m.: A man reported he went to his ex girlfriend's mother's home, to pick up their 5-month-old child, but the grandmother refuses to answer the door.
4:28 a.m.: A caller said she could hear yelling in the area of Brook Hollow Road. A caller in the area said a domestic had just occurred between her and her ex girlfriend.
12:33 p.m.: Police responded to Kohl's, for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested Erin Mayo, 28, of 185 Cordaville Road, Ashland, on charges of shoplifting more than $100 by concealing merchandise and a warrant.
