Police Log: Woman with Child Forced from Vehicle, Car Break-Ins

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, Oct. 13

6:02 p.m.: Police responded to Milford Regional Medical Center, where a man was yelling and becoming combative in a patient room.

6:56 p.m.: An officer pulled over a Ford F150 on Pine Street. Police are seeking a summons to charge Rumaldo RC Tacuri, 32, of 36 Depot St., Apt. 2, Milford, with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense, and license not in possession.

9:05 p.m.: A caller reported a man was screaming at a woman on East Main Street at Cedar Street, and it appeared he kicked her out of a vehicle. The man left in a silver Nissan Maxima. The woman was walking on foot and carrying a child. Police checked surrounding streets but could not find her.

9:22 p.m.: A woman reported her neighbors were away on vacation, and their garage door was open. Police checked and secured the house.

Monday, Oct. 14

12:17 a.m.: A caller reported a possibly intoxicated man was in front of the 7-Eleven. Police spoke to them and determined they were out from, waiting for a ride to arrive from Medway.

1:28 a.m.: A caller reported someone was playing a radio loudly on Senate Road. Police spoke to the tenant, who agreed to shut it off.

1:35 a.m.: A caller said she heard a loud bang inside her house and asked police to check it out. Police checked and everything was OK.

7:08 a.m.: A caller reported a hit-and-run on Sumner Street.

9:18 a.m.: A caller reported his car was broken into the previous night, on Fayette Street. The caller said his GPS was taken, as well as some spare change. The window was broken out. The caller was at work and said he would call back when he arrived home.

9:32 a.m.: A caller said her ex-husband would not leave the house after she asked him to leave several times. Police responded.

10:53 a.m.: A caller on Main at Prospect streets said a man was continually crossing the road and seemed to be confused or need help. Police responded but the man was gone.

12:03 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters and said he wanted to file a report of a possible breaking and entering. He asked an officer to meet him at his house, on Forest Street.

12:18 p.m.: A man walked in and reported a theft from a motor vehicle, on Lena Lane.

1:29 p.m.: A caller reported that someone broke into his car on Bancroft Avenue. He said that loose change was stolen.

1:41 p.m.: An abandoned car was reported on Lawrence Street.

2:46 p.m.: A caller asked police to respond to his home, where his sister was out of control. She has a substance abuse problem and needs help, he said. Police responded. The woman was taken to the hospital by her father.

5:13 p.m.: A caller said a man in a vehicle had been in the area of Esther Drive, and appeared to be watching children play. An 11-year-old said he had seen the vehicle before. Police responded and found the vehicle, and spoke to the driver. It was a tutor working each week with a child in the neighborhood.
