Police Log: Woman Struck on Main Street

Friday, Aug. 17

4:39 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters to report she had lost her wallet, and it had her Social Security card inside.

4:54 p.m.: A man who had a seizure at was taken to

6:35 p.m.: A caller reported an elderly, erratic driver on East Main Street. An officer followed the vehicle, and checked, and the driver was OK.

6:41 p.m.: A caller asked to speak to an officer about damage to his vehicle on Franklin Street.

6:54 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Medway Road, in front of . No one was injured.

8:34 p.m.: A caller reported an electrical fire near his stove, on Green Street. Firefighters arrived, and found the fire was out. There was an issue with the electrical outlet.

8:37 p.m.: A caller at Milford Regional Medical Center asked for an officer to respond to an undisclosed issue in the maternity ward.

8:46 p.m.: Firefighters responded to for a report of a light fixture "sparking and smoking."

Saturday, Aug. 18

1:00 a.m.: Police detectives arrested Scott M. Lapointe, 31, of 80 Winter St., Ashland, on a warrant.

3:26 a.m.: A woman on Draper Park reported her ex-fiance is at her house, banging on the window and an air conditioner. Police responded but could not locate him.

9:09 a.m.: A caller at reported his van was stolen the previous night by a coworker.

9:13 a.m.: An officer issued a parking violation at to a woman who was misusing the handicap placard that had been issued to her mother.

10:40 a.m.: A caller asked to speak to an officer about an issue between tenants about cable.

1:12 p.m.: A caller at on Medway Road reported an SUV hit the building. He thought the person was going to go in and talk to the manager, but "never did."

1:29 p.m.: A man reported he mailed some cards to his wife's residence before he was served with a restraining order. He asked to speak to an officer.

3:25 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported in the parking lot of . No injury was reported.

5:02 p.m.: Three warnings were issued to motorists on Camp Street.

5:59 p.m.: An erratic driver was spotted on West Street. An officer checked the area. He stopped at the address for the registration and "instructed his mother to have him report to the station to see him."

7:59 p.m.: A caller on Lyndon Road reported hearing two girls screaming. Officers checked and everthing was OK.

8:13 p.m.: A caller on Correia Circle reported the theft of jewelry from her home.

9:12 p.m.: A caller reported loud music on Gibbon Avenue.

10:18 p.m.: A woman asked police to check on the well-being of her neice, who she said had been receiving threatening texts.

11:12 p.m.: A caller reported someone blowing a horn and starting and then shutting off a motorcycle, on Metcalf Avenue.

11:25 p.m.: Police responded to a report of an intoxicated man on Maher Court. Police checked and he was OK.

Sunday, Aug. 19

1:01 a.m.: Police responded to Main Street, near , for a report of a woman down in the road, hit by a car. The woman was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center. Police are seeking a summons to charge Ary Luiz De Assuncao Neto, 32, of 9 Pheasant Cir., Apt. 8, Milford, with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

1:11 a.m.: A caller reported a silver sports car in the back lot of by the pool.

1:25 a.m.: A caller on Beaver Street told police someone was shining a flashlight in her windows. Police checked and everything was OK.

2:17 a.m.: A caller reported hearing a "rustling" sound followed by a bang coming from her back yard, on North Terrace. Police checked and everything was OK.

3:50 a.m.: A vehicle was repossessed on Winter Street.

7:43 a.m.: A 31-year-old woman with glass in her feet and a twisted ankle was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center from Shell on Medway Road.

2:14 p.m.: A caller on Howard Street reported finding a large bag of trash in the yard, and asked to speak to an officer.

They should print the name of the woman who misused the handicap placard. For shame!

Any more news on the women that got struck on main st? The unlicenced driver was he also illegal?
