Police Log: Woman in Labor, Domestic Assault Arrest

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Feb. 5

2:27 p.m.: A caller reported vandalism to a vehicle on Senate Road. Police filed a report.

4:25 p.m.: Police responded to Prospect Street, where an officer said a car was in the middle of the parking lot. He found a woman who was pregnant and possibly going into labor. She refused a transport by ambulance. The officer followed her in the car to the Emergency Room at Milford Regional Medical Center.

5:14 p.m: A caller on Sunset Drive told police of a domestic involving siblings. The 18-year-old stated he was going to kill her, the caller said. Police responded and arrested the teen on charges of domestic assault and threatening to commit a crime. The charges were later dismissed in court.

9:06 p.m.: Medway Police reported a man in a dark colored ski mask had stepped out of a Dodge Caravan and tried to assault a Milford woman, and break into her vehicle. He was kicking the door and attempting to break a window. Medway Police then reported the incident occurred in their town, but were asking police in Milford to see if a restraining order had been taken out.

9:41 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters and said his apartment at Shadowbrook Lane may have been broken into while he was at work. He said $500 was stolen, and some checks are missing. An officer followed up with the man, who said he was searching for the lost items, and was unsure if he misplaced them.

Wednesday, Feb. 6

12:30 a.m.: A vehicle in the parking lot of Bank of America on Prospect Street was checked by police, and everything was OK.

4:27 a.m.: A Nissan Sentra was repossessed on Senate Road.
